Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Roze, including the Roze application and website, which are provided by Roze Research Corporation ("Roze," "we," "us," or "our").

By using Roze, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use Roze.

1. The service

Roze provides personal productivity, information-management, assistant, search, and automation features. Some features connect to third-party accounts, device information, or services that you authorize.

Roze may be offered as beta or pre-release software. Features may change, be interrupted, or be removed as the service develops.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required by local law, and legally permitted to enter into these Terms.

If you use Roze on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

3. Accounts and connected services

You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining control of your device and accounts;
  • Providing accurate account information;
  • Reviewing requested permissions before connecting a service; and
  • Activities performed through your account.

You may disconnect a connected service at any time. Third-party services remain governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

4. Your content

You retain ownership of information and content you provide to Roze.

You give Roze a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, copy, transmit, process, and display that content only as reasonably necessary to provide, secure, maintain, and improve the features you use. This license ends when the information is deleted, except where retention is legally required or reasonably necessary for security, backup integrity, or dispute resolution.

You represent that you have the necessary rights to provide content to Roze and to direct Roze to process or transmit it.

5. Assistant and automated actions

Roze may use artificial intelligence and automation. These systems can produce inaccurate, incomplete, or unexpected results.

You are responsible for reviewing important outputs and confirming actions before relying on them. Roze is not a substitute for professional medical, legal, financial, or other expert advice.

You remain responsible for messages, calendar invitations, files, and other actions that you direct Roze to create, modify, or send.

6. Acceptable use

You may not use Roze to:

  • Violate applicable law or another person's rights;
  • Access an account or information without authorization;
  • Distribute malware or interfere with Roze or another service;
  • Harass, exploit, defraud, or impersonate another person;
  • Circumvent security, usage limits, or access controls;
  • Use automated methods to overload or disrupt the service; or
  • Reverse engineer Roze except where applicable law expressly permits it.

We may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect Roze, its users, or third parties.

7. Third-party services

Roze may depend on services provided by companies such as Google, Apple, artificial-intelligence providers, analytics providers, and infrastructure providers.

We do not control those services and are not responsible for their availability, security, terms, or independent actions. Your use of a third-party service is governed by your agreement with that provider.

References to third-party products do not imply sponsorship or endorsement.

8. Roze intellectual property

Roze and its software, design, branding, and other materials are owned by Roze Research Corporation or its licensors.

These Terms give you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use Roze for its intended purpose. They do not transfer ownership of Roze or its intellectual property to you.

If you provide feedback or suggestions about Roze, you give us permission to use them without restriction or compensation to you.

9. Paid features

Roze may offer paid features in the future. Any applicable prices, subscription periods, renewal terms, and cancellation options will be disclosed before you purchase.

Except where required by law or stated otherwise at the time of purchase, payments are non-refundable.

10. Changes and termination

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue all or part of Roze.

You may stop using Roze at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially violate these Terms, create risk or legal exposure, or misuse the service.

Sections that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect, including provisions concerning ownership, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and disputes.

11. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Roze is provided "as is" and "as available."

We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation. We do not warrant that Roze's content, assistant output, integrations, or automated actions will always be accurate, complete, available, or suitable for your needs.

Some jurisdictions do not permit certain disclaimers, so these exclusions may not apply to you.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Roze Research Corporation and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, goodwill, or opportunities arising from or related to Roze.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for all claims relating to Roze will not exceed the greater of:

  • The amount you paid to Roze during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim; or
  • US $100.

These limitations do not apply where prohibited by law.

13. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to Roze Research Corporation, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Before filing a formal claim, you agree to contact us and attempt to resolve the dispute informally. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it may be brought in a court with competent jurisdiction, subject to any rights you have under applicable consumer law.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. If a change is material, we will provide reasonable notice.

Continued use of Roze after updated Terms take effect constitutes acceptance where permitted by law. The effective date at the top of this page indicates when these Terms were last updated.
